But I have respected him as president in spite of the horrible things he keeps doing. I sta rted with this link.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErzxOz3Dzv8&feature=player_embedded#at=194

I kept looking at related links and found them very informative. Once and for all it became clear we have a Muslim for a president that is trying to demolish the Christian heritage of America. I listened to speeches Congressman Obama gave in congress. He glorified the Koran, bowed to a Moslem King which no previous American President has done this. He did not bow to the queen of England. Perhaps this has something to do with his not being welcome at the royal wedding.

I am appalled America, once declared a “Christian Nation “ now has been called a non-Christian nation with a president singing the praises of Moslems in early America. In all the history I ever studied I have never heard of a Moslem in the founding of our nation. Granted there are notable Moslems now but not when America was founded. The farthest back I can remember and Moslem was when Casus Clay became Mohamad Ali.

In the signers of the Declaration with very few exceptions were in most cases not only believers but ministers as well. You can check this out through the tapes and writings of David Barton, through his webbsight Wallbuilders.

Annette

Annette C. This one is about writing. I will be putting in some of my old writings; new ones as well you will also see some new things like possible magazine articles as though I was still writing for one of the magazines that have been published in the past. Some of those will strictly be for this blog others, will be sent to various publishers.

Today however I will introduce myself and explain why I am starting another blog. Before I got married I was published several times under my maiden name Annette E. Conner. I tried hyphenating for a while but Conner-Agnello was awkward. So I simply go by my married name Annette C. Agnello. When you change what you are know by you loose your past publication history it is at best a calculated risk. No one connects the poems published under my maiden name with the articles under my married name.

When I was a kid I had teachers who looked at my spelling and declared I could not write. I was a junior in high school who blessed me by looking at the writing and made me correct the spelling and hand it in again. Suddenly my writing was considered good. It was a new experience.

Like most people I had begun with writing poems, quite a few of them got published. The first I entered in a contest and won. I remember writing Goldfinch. I came to a garage to get work done on my car. It was a early morning appointment and I got there before the place opened and watched a goldfinch eat a thistle. Close observation from a parked car gave me a clear view and let the bird feel as if he was alone. I was listening to an album that I liked so much I literally wore it out. I wish I could find another copy of “Bach by the Beach”. By the time the mechanic showed up I had the poem.

GOLDFINCH

On hillside grew a thistle
Filled with ripened seed
Festooned with silken plumes
God's provision, lowly weed

A pair of goldfinch
Attracted by purple crown
Stood on thorny blossom
Finding seeds beneath the down

Neath the colorful petals
Uncovering tasty seeds
In joyful abandon feasted,
At banquet form a weed

True to his promise, God provided
Birds of the air all they could eat
Together they sing their praises
Thanking God from banquet seat

Never hungering, with no worries
Trusting God for all their needs
Enjoying what he provided
Dining on their feast of seeds

by Annette E. Conner-Agnello
Aug ‘94 Nature/ Praise

I graduated to articles and short stories and now to writing a book. This is nothing like I expected to write for a first entry, for my writing blog. I am restarting an old blog,

Annette C. The religious one is to get closer to the healing scriptures to make them a part of myself. Today’s passage is Deuteronomy 28:1-14 That way I will be able to receive my healing better. Face it the modern church needs to get in touch with the past so I will be referring to Noah Webster’s 1828 Dictionary to get more insight. All scriptures come from the New King James Version.

Deuteronomy 28:1“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.
Diligently DILIGENTLY, adv. With steady application and care; with industry or assiduity; not carelessly; not negligently. Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God. Deu 6. (Webster’s 1828 Dictionary)
I wonder if I obey God’s voice as diligently or carefully as I really should.

2And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:
This passage was part of our wedding ceremony. When we were first married I was strong in the Lord, however as we were getting adjusted to our lives together and we both had to find our places in God’s plan.

3“Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.
4“Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.
5“Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.
6“Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.
All of these blessings are as good for a new married couple as they were for a chosen people. God has definitely things he wants each of us to do and he will do his part to make that possible for each of us.

7“The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.
I’d like to think we have no enemies, but little or big there are people and events in each or our lives that upset our basic calm. The passage speaks of the enemies, whatever they are as fleeing from us. My biggest enemy right now is my recently is my MS, indeed that is why I am working with the healing scriptures in this series of blog entries.

8“The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
Can you imagine God blessing your property and everything you do. Remember God blessed Joseph that way.

9“The Lord will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways. 10Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you. 11And the Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you.
We need to keep the commands of the Lord and walk in his ways, and we will be called “Christian” and the Lord will bless us like he did in verse 8.

12The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.
Assuming that God’s promises will come true. We can receive, be lending and no longer have to borrow.

13And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them. 14So you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right or the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
I am trying to heed the commandments and not turn aside from anything God has promised.

Annette C. And in that greatness whatever health problems there are not only can, but will be take care of.

Proverbs 4:20 My son, give attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings.
21 Do not let them depart from your eyes;
Keep them in the midst of your heart;
22 For they are life to those who find them,
And health to all their flesh.
23 Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.

This passage is talking about the importance of the words in your life in general and specifically in health in verse 22. It amazes me how many people read little or none of the word. When I was a child I thought one verse pulled out of a “Bread of Life Promise Box” was plenty of Bible for the day. But it was a long time before I became a Christian. I struggled along for a while even after accepting Christ. Eventually I learned enough about the Lord and having a relationship with God. That makes all the difference. Once you become friends with the Lord it is easy to believe he would want you to be well.

Proverbs 16:24 Pleasant words are like a honeycomb,
Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.

There can be very pleasant words in the Bible. A lot depends on how you look at them. Some people see the Bible as little more than a collection of stories, others see it as history. While there is a lot of history in the Bible it is far more than that. The word becomes sweet as honeycomb when you spend time with it.

Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart does good, like medicine,
But a broken spirit dries the bones.

This is probably the most often quoted healing scripture from Proverbs. I try to be merry and upbeat and it is better. I also agree with the part about a broken spirit being bad news. I have gone through some tough times and it is not at all pleasant.

Annette C. In this blog I will try to post my thoughts on each scripture. I will be going over the scriptures in depth while my healing is coming. I collected healing scriptures once before simply because I heard of someone being healed by using the scriptures as medicine. If I had only kept it up with a regular dose of the healing word I would never have suffered from MS. I would never have been misdiagnosed and and wasted time without the proper medication for a debilitating illness. I should have just have been on the Lord's precipitation.

I will be looking at the various scriptures and giving my insights into what I'm learning. The first is:

Exodus 15:26 and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”

To be diligent is to make a marked by persevering, painstaking effort. To heed is to To pay attention to; listen to and consider. So this means to pay painstaking attention to God's word. Even more than than usual, I try to always follow God's words, however sometimes when you are looking at the word you see one thing sometimes another. For a list of the diseases of Egypt look in Deuteronomy 28:15-60. This is the first time in scripture God promises to heal.

Annette C. and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. <sup>15</sup>And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. <sup>17</sup>And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; <sup>18</sup>theywill take up serpents;
